Death Spirals and Politicians:

WORLD NEWS: Everyone in the Middle East appears to be mad at the rest of the world, including their neighboring countries, which seems pretty much to have been the case for the last 4,000 years.

The U.S. in direct contrast, lives in complete harmony amid our neighbors with the possible exception of the gang war, the drug war, the war on crime, the Iraq war, the immigration war, the Afghanistan war, the war against tooth decay, and the war to put Middle America out of our misery.

The latter war will incorporate the popular late European model of a three class system; very rich, poor, and really poor.

I am currently recruiting troops to fight in the war against the Middle Class and you don’t even have to bring your own gun. Just bring your open mind and a sandwich, this won’t take long.

I will once more reduce the time necessary for this discussion with Mikeronomics and Mikemathics to get to the plain and simple truth. Middle America (my kind of people) are fast becoming an endangered species and haven’t even been mentioned for a listing.

Inflation is raging out of control, jobs are being lost daily, costs are out pacing income, and government is getting larger and larger along with debt of every nature, both personal and public; commonly referred to in aviation as a “death spiral.”

I can pull out of an aviation death spiral; reduce power, neutralize the elevator, apply rudder and aileron opposite the spiral turn, then slowly apply up-elevator, level off and apply enough power to maintain altitude. No sweat.

Our governments’ solution to the death spiral of the Middle Class is, “We better requisition a lot of tents to house the poor and very poor in our new three tier system.”

Big Business, who own the current government by default of having the money which elects the same, have determined that partnering with the Communist Chinese is a far more profitable than messing with whiny Middle American workers.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting to eventually have a different result.

Electing and re-electing entrenched politicians who have made no plans whatsoever for your future, is insane. But, you say, “They do have the experience.”

That would be like getting in an airplane with the pilot who holds the world record for living through crashes and saying, “He does have experience, what are the odds he’ll crash again?” About 100%, I’d say.

Wake up Middle America, the toast is burning. What say you?

The toast is not burning. It is torched.

It would be so refreshing to see the American middle class, just once try something different regarding our political system. I do not really believe we all enjoy more debt, higher wages for our elected officials, more wasteful spending, less medical and retirement funds for us and on and on. But we keep voting the candidates in that promote these things.

It would be so nice to see, just one time, the masses in America throw the bums out who promote the waste and hate and debt and elect someone who believes we all should have our fair share, someone who is not interested in spending our country into the poor house; someone who is truly concerned about securing our borders (and obviously, this candidate also truly does not believe in or promote the myth of a sustainable economy); someone who does not believe our elected officials require or deserve the silver (platinum) spoon they have had in their mouth for way too long now.

Do a little research people. There are not that many running for this next election who meet this criteria. Check it out for yourselves. Look for a track record not the same old tired rhetoric.

We have absolutely NOTHING TO LOSE and EVERYTHING TO GAIN by moving this direction; at least one time. I do not think it would take more than one time to convince the entire country that this is the direction we should take from that point on. Moving the right direction is never wrong.

Can it happen? You bet. Will it happen? Probably not, if we insist on the same tired mind set we posses at this time.

billy b,
Couldn’t agree more with your comments. The raging war between democrats and republicans has big time losers, the American people, and big time winners, rank and file politicians.

Grass roots movements have worked in the past and can work again. The big money selects the politicians that best suit their own agendas, but then Middle America outnumbers them, don’t we?

Let’s get together and do something great for not only ourselves, but our kids and grandkids.
