The Insane are Running the Asylum:

Good Morning Middle America, your King of Simple News is on the air.

U.S. NEWS: It seems that law school enrollments have surged this week, as 10,000 lawyers have suddenly found the money to pay for their children’s education in what appears to be permanent work in the FLDS case in San Angelo Texas.

More than 400 fearful children were removed from their homes and taken into custody and have now been assigned their own legal team and are said to be “safe.” When asked what they were fearful of, the authorities believe that it may have been the noise of the armored vehicles and swat teams that were used to remove them from their homes. Makes sense to me.

Here at King of Simple News we are having difficulty understanding how known murderous street gangs that openly deal in drugs and death are allowed to rule entire sections of cities without falling to the same fate of the women and children in San Angelo. We have pretty much come to the conclusion that street gangs shoot back and women and children don’t.

In other news, the remaining three candidates for president have finally come to an agreement. After hours in a heated debate, it has been agreed that the two who don’t win will co-host a new reality show called, “Are You Dumber than a Presidential Candidate?” Finding sponsors remains a challenge, as they are fearful that they may give away a million dollars every night if they ask questions simple enough for the current candidates to answer correctly.

Food shortages remain a problem around the world, as not paying attention for 200 years is beginning to catch up with us. President Bush recommended a quick solution saying, “Why don’t we legislate that grocery stores have to stay open longer hours?”

Congress was totally incensed by the Presidents remarks, stating that, “We had already come up with that solution and the President stole it from us.”

The airlines continue to experience difficulty as rising fuel prices (that were predicted to occur some 51 years ago), have now outpaced the airlines ability to plan. When asked why they had not been ready for these high prices, one airline executive said, “Fifty one years is precious little time to plan for a known event. After all, cutting passenger comfort, food, and seeing to the benefit packages of our executives, has pretty well taken up our time between golf games.”

In the mean time, Congress will do what they can with each and every one of the 535 of them vowing to fly home more often.

In the mean time, buckle up Middle America, we are expecting some extreme turbulence.

I can name one group of people dumber than the three presidential candidates; the American population in general. Too much evidence to deny it. I am shameful, but I have been one of them for too long. I refuse to continue with that mind set however. -bb

I see what you mean, Billy. I have been selected to stand before a goup of executioners. But I have the beneifit of making a choice prior to my demise; an informed choice as you might say. One has a bow/arrow. One has a shotgun. And one has a cannon. Now why would anyone but the most stupid choose any of the three.
Let’s see now; we have three presidential candates. One wants to sell the rest of our jobs down the sewer, the……………..

BB,

It’s interesting that I can’t seem to find any group of people who think that we have a good choice for our highest office. So then how did they become our candidates?

We need a place on the ballot that says, “none of the above.”

I believe that option is still available under the write in line on the ballot? Please correct me if this option will not be offered for this election. -bb

BB,

We can do a write in, but that is not the same as an outright rejection choice.

“None of the above” would trigger a do-over with the current candidates disallowed.

At this time, I personally, do not intend to vote for either of the two who make the big show. I’m tired of selecting the lesser of two evils.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Hi Mike,
Most thinking people seem to be in agreement that our options are worse than poor, at least for the two major parties. I, for one ,am tired of voting against a candidate instead of for someone. I’m always afraid that my vote will be wasted if I don’t stick to the major parties. Well—-dumb and dumber have liberated me from that thinking because ,like you said, it just doesn’t matter who wins. There is a Libraterian (who’s name I don’t even remember) trying to get on the ballot. I plan to vote for him and throw away my vote in protest. That probably will accomplish nothing, but neither will voting for John M. which I see as the only other option. It’s a sad situation.

The people in San Angelo are fortunate that Bill and Janet Reno aren’t still in power. Children have to be protected, but I don’t think that terrorizing them is the way.
Being different is not a crime - as I have been loose for over 62 years.

Larry,

I said the same thing, if it were a crime to be different, I’d be doing life.

There may prove to be issues with the FLDS in San Angelo, but under any other circumstances they would have gone there and investigated, not hauled them all off with a swat team.

The cost of this will run in the millions and the lawyers will win again.

If Janet Reno had been handling this, there wouldn’t be any evidence left to look into…or people either for that matter.

A write in on the ballot is still legal for any declared candidate such as Ron Paul.

One group of people that I think could be on the show are “wall street investors”. All the bad news coming out this week and they keep the market going up because it wasnt as bad as they thought it was…lol. Hey Citibank only lost $5 billion instead of $10 billion, thats great lets rally…lol. The one that really gets me is the MSMBC talking heads talking about having growth in retail in March. It was up .2% while inflation was up .3%. In my book that is down at least .1% and considering the way the government cooks the books probably much more.

There is something you can right about Mike, How the government cooks the books on inflation, GDP and all that stuff.

Hi Mike
Looks like another week is history. Most of any comment I could leave right now would be a copy of what you brought out anyway. There is a large segment of the population that agrees with most of your articles, me being one of them. However if Ron Paul has dropped out, where does that leave us? Probably bitching, paying and complaining for another 4 years. Every day you empathize more and more situations that require some real attention and soon. You say we need a new congress and “GOD” knows thats a fact. Lets do it. History says “there is only one way that can happen.” That being a grass roots effort for each seat you want to elect a representative who cares. WHO wants to jump in now and back some regular Americans that want to represent the constitution and us? Anywhere in the USA. There still is time. We can get the funds, get the right people, get on the ballots and win this thing or give it a good shot.
Thanks FJE

The government has cooked the books for ever. And they will continue to do so until we make a wholesale change in our leaders…but that takes pain.

Those who read this site are simply ahead of the curve with your thoughts and perception, but America as a whole is not.

Grass roots, to my knowledge, is the only way, but also to my knowledge has never occurred prior to the majority being in a personal bind.

Those people who are pandered to in the rust belt, being promised jobs that will never materialize; will vote for Hillary or Barack as a last ditch hope.

I see the whole thing coming undone after the election when all the election lies become evident.
