“It’s Our Way of Life.”

Good Morning all of you active brain cells out there in reality land; close your eyes and hold your nose for another nasty dose of the King of Simple News.

I was a guest last night on Frosty Wooldridge’s talk radio program, “Connecting the Dots.” I was on for the full hour and it seemed like 10 minutes. Sometimes, just sometimes, the big picture becomes so crystal clear that I feel that familiar old drive well up inside that insists that I warn the world.

That’s the same feeling that I had when I set out to write my book. I would tell myself, “If only you could help to inform and educate everyone possible, perhaps we could avert disaster.” Fat chance.

Frosty always brings out the best in me by asking pointed questions. He referred to my article, “One Year Ago,” and asked, “Where will we be a year from now, or are you afraid consider that?” I replied that it has become extraordinarily difficult to predict future events based on logic, because we don’t have logical leadership.

We have a Congress and a President who believe that we can borrow ourselves out of this crisis and then grow ourselves into another crisis in order to pay for the cost of the former crises. The dog is in full pursuit of his tail.

Frosty pressed the issue by asking what the eventual end would be? Without drawing a breath, I replied, “Total collapse, there is simply no other possibility.” As I suggested earlier, sometimes it all becomes so clear. There are limits and the world population has exceeded those limits.

I retold my story of being in Phoenix and observing 3 million people living in a desert and stressing the water and ecosystem paper thin. Frosty mentioned the famed brown cloud that represents the air that the people of Denver breathe daily. We talked about Los Angeles, the crowned king of congestion and pollution and then I asked, “What do they all have in common?” to which Frosty quickly answered, “They all want to grow!”

Frosty then asked me the crown jewel, $64,000, pivotal question, “Why?”

It was easy for me to answer, “It’s our way of life.” In a capitalistic monetary system where legalized gambling at the highest levels of finance are permitted, and that is inclusive of compounding interest, and that has made future monetary promises to their citizens based on nothing more than a grandiose pyramid scheme; there are no other options other than to grow exponentially or collapse.

There is however one exception to the rule stated above and we have chosen that exception; we can grow exponentially until we do collapse. Well darn Leroy; now what?

Our presidents, congress, governors, state representatives, mayors, big business leaders…all promise us growth without end. Therefore, in all reality, our leadership promises eventual purposely orchestrated collapse. Hard to believe isn’t it? After all, it’s our way of life. And therefore, it’s far easier to believe “The Biggest Lie Ever Believed.”

“Alright, we’re several days from water and we only have a gallon left. There are eight of us here, and starting at the top of our leadership we’re going to give everyone a quart.” What’s so hard to believe about that? It’s our way of life.

UH, Mike,
My gallon only has 4 quarts.

It is becoming increasingly clear that ignorance at the highest levels of government is the most dangerous enemy we face.

Yep Clyde, Over promise and under deliver, that the government’s moniker.

However, I don’t believe that it is ignorance at play here at the highest level of government, I believe that it’s cunning and the plan is working out for them flawlessly. No mistakes; plans carried out.

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and the corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.” - Thomas Jefferson

We need to take a long hard look at the first 40 years or so after the American Revolution to get things right or fulfill TJ’s prediction.

Mike,

There is an acronym that is well known among the Wall Street theives. It is
IBG-YBG and it stands for I’ll Be Gone-You’ll Be Gone and it means precisely that. They are smart enough to know that the end of the pyramid scheme is playing out. They just hope to keep it alive a little bit longer so they can line their pockets first.
I am quite familiar with the principals of an ex CIA contracting company and they are convinced that there is a 33% chance of a “triggering event” leading to massive upheaval happening in the next few years. Three years ago that percentage was 5%.

Barbara Boxer has just stated that the scientists who leaked the “climate-gate” emails should be prosecuted. Prosecute the whistle-blowers? Seems like someone is taking this a little personal.

I think that our government was planning on the “green energy” revolution and “cap and trade” to sustain us for the next decade. That dream is starting to fall apart despite the lack of mainstream news coverage.

The government is running out of options to spur growth. All hope is riding on X-mas.

My future prediction. You are completely right with the water analogy..

Fewer, and fewer people at the top will get more and more, while more people at the bottom get less, and less… Just take that out as far as you wish.. See if it isn’t happening every day..

It hasn’t failed, it’s working.. The plan is working as they know it will..

Way back in the 70’s, I was told:

“Americans used to roar like lions for freedom, now they bleat like sheep for security!”

How much truer today than back then.

We are also part of the cycle of civilization:

Grow with courage and moral uprightness. Become complacent and rest on past laurels. Decay from within.
Be destroyed from without.

For an excellent analysis of ancient and modern day history, read “The Rise and Fall of Civilizations, Part III” at
http://www.gold-eagle.com/editorials_01/mbutler122101.html

Our Founding Fathers clearly understood what it would take to remain free: knowledge and virtue. Samuel Adams stated:

“No people will tamely surrender their liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffused and virtue is preserved. On the contrary, when people are universally ignorant, and debauched in their manners, they will sink under their own weight without the aid of foreign invaders.”

America has run its course and the coming years will see great changes in our once-proud nation.

We who are planning to survive will be laying in supplies and relying on our wits and skills. The more people who see the light, the better for all of us.

Hotrod said, IBG-YBG, = I’ll be gone, you’ll be gone. How perfect! Who cares about anything and anyone beyond our own time?

I used to work with some guys who would often say about their shoddy workmanship, “You can’t see it from my house.” Same meaning, I get paid and get the heck out of here. The next guy can fix it.

I agree with Les, I think government was counting on green jobs and taxation to kick the can down the road.

Country Lady said, “America has run its course and the coming years will see great changes in our once-proud nation.” We have run this outfit into the ground for the reasons stated above, IBG-YBG.

It needs to be said that one of two things are absolutely going to occur.

1. We will have a period of hyper growth and begin adding millions of high paying jobs.

2. We will see taxes increased as never witnessed before in history in an effort to head off National default on foreign debt and domestic entitlement programs.

We must always keep in mind that having millions of Americans unemployed, while at the same time seeing the tax value of real estate, businesses, personal property, etc. drop like a rock; the tax collection business ain’t all that shiny.

Since the government collects taxes for a living…as they say, “somethings gotta give.”

Here’s an interesting link from the author of the “Millionaire Next Door” suggesting that the way to riches is to live below your means. Hmmmm, where have you heard that before?
